WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s exactly how we walk you through the process at Beacon Chiropractic.

A woman and a man stand together outside a building, smiling at the camera. The woman has long black hair and is wearing a black jacket, while the man has short brown hair and a beard, wearing a black polo shirt and light-colored pants.

Step 1: Consultation and Evaluation

You’ll be warmly greeted by our front desk and taken to our consultation room.

  1. We’ll sit down with you to discuss your goals, concerns, and health history. This is where we start the process of catering care specifically to you.

  2. A complete exam will be performed, including:

    • Postural assessment

    • Digital spinal imaging (if necessary)

    • Functional movement screening

    • Orthopedic Testing

Step 2: Report of Findings & Custom Treatment Plan

You’ll return for a one-on-one review of your findings.

  1. We’ll walk through your report, showing you exactly what’s happening and what it will take to correct it.

  2. Your custom care plan is built around your goals—whether that’s pain relief, performance, or long-term correction.

  3. If you’re ready to begin, you’ll receive your first adjustment that day.

Step 3: Guided Care and Lasting Results

With your plan in place, we begin care designed to realign, stabilize, and protect your spine. Each adjustment builds on the last, and we track your progress along the way. Our goal isn’t just short-term relief—it’s to guide you toward long-term health, better posture, and lasting results!

  • Most first visits are around 45–60 minutes depending on how complex your case is and whether we take X-rays.

  • On your first visit we’ll perform a comprehensive baseline exam that includes digital x-rays, a digital posture analysis, range of motion assessment and any necessary orthopedic assessments. In most cases we can get you in the following day to review your exam results and begin treatment.

  • For your posture images to be accurate, it helps if we can clearly see your shoulders, head position, and pelvis. Please wear:

    Recommended:

    • T-shirt or tank top

    • Shorts, leggings, or fitted joggers

    • Clothing without bulky material

    Avoid:

    • Hoodies

    • Jackets

    • Thick or loose sweatshirts

    • Baggy or oversized tops

    • Dresses

These simple clothing choices help us capture the most accurate and useful posture photos so we can measure changes over time.

  • Any recent imaging, reports, or paperwork related to your condition are helpful, but not required.
